Growing the Game
When the Stealth migrated to the north, it could’ve meant the growth of lacrosse in Washington was in jeopardy. However, the Stealth has made sure the local Sticks-2-Schools (S2S) program remained vibrant. Since 2010, S2S has put lacrosse sticks in over 30 local schools, exposing thousands to the sport while educating them on fitness.

Vancouver Stealth Of National Lacrosse League To Call LEC Home
Langley, BC -- The Langley Events Centre will be the new home of professional lacrosse in British Columbia, as the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Board of Governors unanimously approved the relocation of the Stealth franchise from its previous home in Everett, Washington to the Metro Vancouver area effective immediately. The Vancouver Stealth will begin play at the LEC in the 2014 NLL season.

Traditional Plains Sport comes to Tulalip
The sound of clashing sticks echoed throughout the Tulalip Boys & Girls Club as kids, club staff and members of Everett’s Washington Stealth lacrosse league took part in the exciting sport of lacrosse. Members of Washington Stealth paid a visit to the club on February 11th to teach the kids not only the game of lacrosse, but its history and Native American cultural identity, along with the importance of staying physically fit in order to combat obesity, an issue that is prominent in children across America.

Sticks-2-Schools Fundraiser to be held October 20. Fans get chance to meet Stealth Players and Fight Childhood Obesity
Sticks-2-Schools, the non-profit partner of the National Lacrosse League’s Washington Stealth, has announced a fundraiser at Tech City Bowl in Kirkland, Wash., on October 20. The fundraiser, featuring appearances by Stealth players, coaches and the Bombshells dance team, will assist the organization in promoting a healthy lifestyle in elementary, middle and high schools around the Puget Sound Region.

Bucktooth, McElroy visit Snoqualmie Youth Camp - Children at the Snoqualmie Tribal Youth Camp learned about the history of lacrosse and played themselves thanks to Sticks-2-Schools.
Last week, the Sticks-2-Schools program, accompanied by Stealth players Brett Bucktooth and Chris McElroy and team mascot, Bomber the Fox, visited the Snoqualmie Tribal Youth Camp. The young members of the Snoqualmie tribe were treated to a lesson on the history of lacrosse and received basic instruction on how to play North America’s oldest sport.

Sticks-2-Schools’ Success in 2011-2012 Sets Groundwork for Bright Future
S2S Introduced in 20 Washington Schools and After School Programs in Two Years
Sticks-2-Schools, the non-profit partner of the National Lacrosse League’s Washington Stealth, continues to grow in Washington and its success during the 2011-2012 academic year has the program set up for a bright future. In two years since coming to Washington, the program has been introduced in 20 schools and after school programs, with 12 visits in the last year alone.

McElroy Makes First Sticks-2-Schools Visit at Lincoln Elementary
As the 2012 Washington Stealth season approaches, newly appointed Sticks-2-Schools Program Instructor and Stealth defenseman Chris McElroy kicked off Sticks-2-Schools’ second year in Washington State with a visit to Lincoln Elementary School in Mount Vernon on October 27th. McElroy was the featured speaker at a school-wide assembly and later gave some instruction to the second grade class.
